{"id":376,"date":"2026-04-08T23:53:19","date_gmt":"2026-04-08T23:53:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www-masters.net\/wordpress\/?page_id=376"},"modified":"2026-05-15T23:24:45","modified_gmt":"2026-05-15T23:24:45","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/christ-speaks.com\/index.php\/about\/","title":{"rendered":"About"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The idea for this website came about one morning when I thought:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I would like to read a chronologically ordered biography of Jesus\u2019 life and ministry work.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I researched the idea. I looked for books or other material. I asked a pastor. But found nothing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I looked some more and found a book published in 1927, which I acquired and read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I thought it interesting that this book was still available in 2025, almost 100 years later, but I envisioned something more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I thought, since I cannot find what I envision, why not write it. I began compiling, editing, researching, and writing. After some time passed, I shared the text with people I respect and admire, who also thought this project was valuable. I then realized that I could not share the text widely while using a copyrighted Bible translation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With inspiration from the Bible Project I decided that it was possible to produce an English translation from the greek text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This website consists of excerpts of that text with the opportunity to interact with \u2018scenes\u2019 from the four Canonic Gospels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I welcome your thoughts and suggestions.
